Tampere Smart City Week is designed and realised in cooperation with local actors. The Week of events presents how Tampere have solved the challenges of Smart City development and what opportunities it creates as seen from different industries.

The CITIES Forum 2020 – together we shape a sustainable urban future will be held in Porto. It is a two-day major event of the European Commission bringing together key stakeholders from European, national and local levels. The Forum is a place for all stakeholders to capitalise on common achievements and reflect on the future directions of urban development within Cohesion Policy including the future of the Urban Agenda for the EU.
The EIP-SCC Marketplace team will be present both days, joining DG Regional and Urban Policy at their exhibition stand.

The World Urban Forum (WUF) is the world’s premier conference on urban issues and will take place in Abu Dhabi, from 8-13 February 2019.
It was established in 2001 by the United Nations to examine one of the most pressing issues facing the world today: rapid urbanisation and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change and policies. Organised and convened by UN-Habitat, the Forum has become one of the most open gatherings on the international arena, for exchanging views and experiences on urban challenges. The inclusive nature of the Forum, combined with high-level participation, makes it a unique United Nations conference and the premier international gathering on urban issues.
