Climate Ambassadors, a community under the Kadikoy City Council, organise a serie of seminars to raise awareness against climate change. Their 5th seminar took place on 1st of February under the title “Footprints of Green Buildings”.
As being the PED Methodology Development and Replication leader for the MAKING-CITY project, Beril Alpagut from Demir Enerji presented the general concept of MAKING-CITY, highlighting the building and retrofitting designs that are being implemented and tested in Oulu and Groningen, the two Lighthouse cities. The importance of implementing PEDs is underlined since they are the focal point for sustainable energy transitions in cities for reaching climate targets by reducing energy demand, raising energy efficiency and supporting renewable energy generation.
