Eurocities, in partnership with Leeds City Council, is organising an online event taking place on Thursday 1 October 10:30 – 12:10 (CEST) on ‘creating opportunities for smart places through living labs’.
Anna Lisa Boni, Secretary General, Eurocities, will make the opening remarks. The focus of the event will be living labs and their role and importance in developing smart cities, which has become a prominent and current topic in how towns and cities develop, and how public services are delivered in the future.
As well as looking at the situation in Leeds, the event will aim to share examples of best practice from other European cities, examining some of the challenges they have faced in creating and setting-up living labs, and the opportunities labs provide to support recovery and re-shape cities in a post-Covid world.
