This webinar introduces three ICT tools, their development and implementation in urban districts as part of the AREA 21 project and offers a reflection and discussion of the aspects of smart energy management at the district level. Partners and smart city experts will focus on key issues related to tools’ end-user benefits, complexities and trade-offs, information limits, signal-to-noise paradoxes in big data era, etc., and will open up the conversation with participants to assess qualities, functionalities and merits of ICT tools for urban energy planning in various national and urban contexts.
