26 October 2022 – 28 October 2022
As part of a bigger event on Climate Neutral Valencia organised by the city’s Polytechnical University, TOMORROW’s final conference will be the opportunity to hear from the project’s 6 pilot cities and learn about their efforts to involve citizens in their transition road mapping process, within the broader discussion of Valencia’s ambitions towards climate neutrality by 2030.
This joint event will enable participants to learn what TOMORROW’s pilot cities have achieved over the course of the project and have a closer look at their innovative engagement processes, while at the same time delving into Valencia’s specific experience. As one of the EU’s 100 Mission Cities striving to reach net-zero before 2030, Valencia is a rich terrain to host TOMORROW’s final event, showing close-up how participative transition road mapping has an important role to play in achieving the ambitious targets that the Mission Cities are aiming for.
The TOMORROW conference and Polytechnical University event on Climate Neutral Valencia will be the chance to interact with the different cities from the TOMORROW project – Dublin, Brasov, Mouscron, Nis, Brest and Valencia – and at the same time engage with Valencia’s local and national stakeholders, in a discussion which puts people at the centre of the transition towards a greener, cleaner and more sustainable tomorrow.
